One recent project took place at a gas station in Wyoming, after a vehicle struck unprotected tank vent lines in the parking lot. The impact sheared off the Regular Unleaded vent pipe just above grade, creating a serious safety hazard by releasing gasoline vapors at ground level where they could potentially ignite from nearby ignition sources.

Our team mobilized immediately to secure the site and complete the necessary repairs. Crews broke out and removed concrete, exposed the damaged vent lines, repaired the piping, installed a U-shaped bollard to protect the vent system from future impacts, patched the concrete, and finished the project by painting the vent pipes and bollard.
