CGRS Sustainability Initiatives 2025: Building a Resilient Future
At CGRS, sustainability means more than reducing our environmental impact — it’s about creating a business that thrives long-term by balancing people, planet, and profit. In 2025, we’re taking meaningful steps to strengthen our operations and our community, with a focus on continuous improvement and collective responsibility.
Aiming for Gold with CGBN:
We’re setting our sights on Gold status with the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN)! As proud Silver members, we’ve already made strides in pollution reduction and sustainable leadership. This June, we’ll submit our latest updates in the pursuit of even greater impact.
Efficiency & Stewardship:
Operational efficiency is key to reducing waste and enhancing safety. This year, we’re refining how we manage materials and optimize workflows to ensure we’re working smarter — and more sustainably — every day.

Keeping the Conversation Going:
Sustainability is a team effort, and communication is crucial. That’s why we’re launching a sustainability newsletter to keep everyone informed about our progress, new opportunities, and helpful resources.
Getting Our Hands Dirty:
We’re proud to announce our adoption of the Kingfisher Natural Area through Fort Collins’ Adopt-A-Natural-Area Program. As part of our ongoing commitment to local stewardship, our team will participate in monthly clean-ups throughout 2025.
Investing in Our Team:
A sustainable business is built by empowered people. Through the Colorado Skills Advance Program, we’re offering a second round of professional development courses, covering topics like Project Management, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Digital Literacy, and Leadership. These opportunities are part of our ongoing investment in helping our team grow and thrive.
