CGRS welcomes Bo Bowman, P.E., a senior engineer with over 26 years’ experience in civil and environmental engineering and environmental chemistry. Formally an independent subcontractor to CGRS, Mr. Bowman has conducted numerous engineering and design projects for a variety of clients, including bulk oil storage facilities, municipalities, chemical manufacturers, metal manufacturers, the military, and water and natural gas utility sectors.

With a focus aligning closely with CGRS’ clients’ needs, Mr. Bowman’s core competencies include aboveground and underground storage tank (AST/UST) fuel-system design; civil and construction management; and environmental remediation. Fuel-system projects include design of chemical and petroleum tank storage systems; fit-for-service inspections of piping, vessels, and storage tanks; and coatings inspections using STI SP-001, API-653, ASME 579 and SSPC. Civil and construction management projects include 20 years’ experience on capital improvement projects at Pacific Gas and Electric Co.’s (PG&E) Topock and Hinkley Compressor Stations. Environmental-management projects included risk-based closure, site characterization, remediation-system design, and managing hazardous waste and materials.

Mr. Bowman said he is excited to join CGRS, noting, “while I was by myself for eight years I could not reach for larger projects. CGRS has a great set of people to allow for greater project opportunities.”
